INDIANAPOLIS – The AMP, an artisan marketplace and food hall located in the 16 Tech Innovation District in downtown Indianapolis, announced seven additional tenants including a taqueria, fusion cuisine concept and natural drink bar today. Set to open to the public this June, the AMP will feature a diverse array of innovative restaurant and retail concepts.
The AMP boasts 40,000 square feet of space featuring colorful shipping containers, food stalls, an open-air bar, communal seating, and community gathering and event space.
Featuring both new and established concepts, the AMP will offer Indianapolis residents, visitors and 16 Tech tenants dine-in, drink-in and grab-and-go options.
The additional tenants announced today include:
- Andres BBQ and Seafood: Fusion cuisine featuring international seasoning used in everyday cooking
- Azucar Morena: Arepa bar focused on showcasing the classic Venezuelan household recipes in every bite
- Fresko: Italian and Latin cuisine including traditional pastas, Latin street foods and a fusion of both
- Healthy Soul: Healthy farm-to-table soul food on the go
- Limon: Taco bar concept
- Mambo’s Cheesesteak: Philly cheesesteaks and sandwiches with a South-American twist
- The Food Architect Natural Drink & Sea Moss Bar: Natural, whole fruit, herb infused drinks, Alkaline water, sea moss and herb mixes that promote healthy lifestyle changes
These tenants join Circle City Sweets, Tinker Coffee, PROX Salads and Frankie’s Pizza Parlor who are currently operating from the space, as well as previously announced tenants including Black Orchid, Boba & Everything, Innova Wings & Greens, Melon Kitchen, PB&J Factory, Punkin’s Pies, Waterway Fish Market and Yamallama Deli.

The AMP features more than 20 spaces for food, drink, retail and entertainment. Sixty-five percent of commitments are minority/women led or owned businesses. Fifty-six percent are new concepts.
The AMP is focused on uplifting the Indianapolis culinary/retail community by offering a diverse array of concepts from emerging business to established concepts, an approachable leasing structure designed to allow entrepreneurs a place to start out and scale up, and a first-of-its-kind restaurant accelerator for Black Chefs, Melon Kitchen.
“My family is from this area. My grandparents’ home is here, and my mother lived here,” said Corey McDaniel, owner of The Food Architect Natural Drink & Sea Moss Bar and current Haughville resident. “In this area, there has always been a food desert. I am excited to be able to bring healthy options – and not just products and services, but more information, so that people can be proactive about their health.”
