DESCRIPTION:  \n  \nVersiti Blood Center saw a significant decline in donations during the holiday season\, and the downward trend continues into the new year.  Unfortunately\, the need for blood does not take a holiday\, and we have seen an uptick in ER room visits and trauma patients requiring mass blood transfusions\, decimating the blood supply. \nVersiti provides 70% of the blood and blood products in the state of Indiana.  To maintain a safe blood supply\, we need to see 2\,900 donors every week. \nWe could really use your help as we prepare for our upcoming blood drive on\, as there are still open appointment times. Here are three easy ways you can help us meet our goal on January 31.
