SUMMARY:CNC Router Table Training Session
DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \nIn this class\, students will have the opportunity to create their own custom 3/4″ wooden plywood birch sign\, up to 12″ x 24′ and become certified on the use of the Shopbot PRS Alpha CNC Router at Machyne Makerspace. This will instruct attendees on how to operate the ShopBot PRS Alpha CNC router table at Machyne. Students will learn the capabilities\, operation\, and safety protocols for the ShopBot. After attending the class users will know how to power the machine; move the tooling in X\, Y\, and Z; fasten materials to the bed; insert bits; set the origin & Z-Height; and how to safely run jobs on the machine. \nNote: Machyne’s ShopBot PRS Alpha cut-size is 5’x10′ with 13″ Z-height from the bed to the collet\, and is outfitted with a variable speed spindle.
